New to WhatsApp Communities: Events and Multiple Pins

WhatsApp, everyone’s favourite messaging app, has recently added some new features to improve community engagement: An events feature, the ability to reply in Announcement Groups and a multiple pins feature. These features can be used alongside Frontcover, helping community managers plan events in WhatsApp groups and have more structured replies to important announcements.
The main aim is to allow users on WhatsApp to be more organised and engaging. The introduction of events will make it easier for Frontcover Community members to plan virtual meet-ups, get-togethers, and events directly in WhatsApp groups. Replies in Announcement Groups also allows members to reply to important updates from admins. These features will let admins hear what their members are saying, while keeping their groups up to date on what’s happening in their Community.
Events in Communities:
Now, anyone in a group can create an event, and others can RSVP.
Everyone can see who's coming, making coordination a breeze.
The event details are easily accessible from the group's info page.
You'll get a handy notification as the event date approaches.
Replies in Announcement Groups:
Admins can now get organised replies from members in Announcement Groups.
All replies are neatly grouped together for easy reading.
Notifications for replies won't bother everyone, keeping the chat organised and focused.

Pinning Conversations
Users can pin various types of content: text, polls, images, and emojis.
Each user can only pin one chat at a time.
Pinning is handy for quick access to essential information, like a friend's address or event details.
Admins in groups have the option to control who can pin messages, either just admins or any member.
Using these new features offers a number of advantages for Frontcover community managers. It is easier to plan events, leading to more successful get-togethers. Structured replies in Announcement Groups provide better communication. And finally, it will be easier for everyone to see who is attending events and follow group discussions more clearly.
WhatsApp plans to roll out these features to all groups over the coming months, further enhancing community engagement and communication on the platform.
